The Zliide tag

The Zliide tag is an intelligent version of the classic anti-theft tag. It has all the security functionality of a classic anti-theft tag, but also allows customers to interact and unlock it automatically when they make a purchase on their device.

If a product is not equipped with the Zliide tag, all of the Zliide checkout features are also available via the classic barcode found on all product labels. The customer simply scans the barcode, gets the product information, completes the purchase and receives a digital receipt as proof of purchase. All ready to go!

It’s also possible to set up Zliide to work with your RFID setup. The checkout is then initiated via the EPC QR code on the hang tag, which is connected to the RFID. When payment is completed the RFID inventory count updates. If your store utilises RFID security gates, the system is updated to allow the product to leave the store.

The future role of store staff

A more customer centric perspective

We believe that the role of the store employee in the future will change. This is especially true when implementing Zliide where the store staff transforms from doing transactions behind the cash register to being able to do transactions everywhere in the store. Store staff is freed up and can now spend more time on the store floor helping customers, do refilling, etc.
